Here at Aunty’s Child Care, we do many gross motor skills during group time such as running, jumping, walking backwards, etc.
We love doing exercises to get the wiggles out of our bodies! We practice following directions and controlling our bodies.
We also play many group games that teach us to work as a group, have patience, and follow multiple-step instructions.
We have been viewing this show a few times a week for a while, and the kids love learning yoga! The instructor has many different versions of the videos that present the yoga in a really fun way that keeps in the kids engaged. The kids are learning to listen, follow directions, and most importantly, how to calm and control their bodies while stretching and working on balance 🙂 Parents, feel free to check out the YouTube videos with your kids at home.
